Huddle Up scores for McCreery and Crosse
Huddle Up gained a first win of the year at Navan today, as Willie McCreery's gelding narrowly landed the Blackcastle Handicap under the trainer's apprentice jockey Nathan Crosse. Wed 20th OctHalf Nutz is no fool at Naas
Half Nutz enhanced his fine track record at Naas when landing the EquisoftLive Handicap in the hands of Andrew Slattery. Sun 17th OctHector opens his account in the Nursery
Aidan O’Brien will be crowned champion Flat trainer for the 22nd consecutive year (and 23rd in total) at Naas next Saturday, and the Ballydoyle maestro moved onto the 98 winner mark for the current campaign as Hector De Maris justified favouritism in the Naas Nursery Handicap. Sun 01st NovHuddle Up gives Nathan Crosse bragging rights
The Crosse brother fought out the spoils in the auction maiden in Cork with Nathan Crosse and Huddle Up coming out best by a neck. Tue 25th Aug
After race at Navan Wed, 20th Oct, 2021 (1st)
Mike O’Donnell, a Tipperary man living in Kildare, owns him and he has Royal Canford as well who got black type for him this year. I didn’t run him all summer as I think he needs an ease in the ground. He ran a cracker in Naas the last day and he got stopped once or twice as everyone is trying to veer to the outside which is not good at a premier track. Nathan was good and strong on him and good for his 3lb claim. He got him up well on the line. He’s in the sales on November 1 but doubt if we’ll sell him as I think he’ll be a lovely horse next year with a bit of ease in the ground.

After race at Cork Tue, 25th Aug, 2020 (1st)
It’s onwards and upwards, and we’ll try find a few little races for him. He’s a fun horse to have but he’s grand and he’s after paying for himself there in one fell swoop. He did that well. I castrated him early just because he was just thinking about things, but he had a lovely attitude there. He was very game to the line, and I thought Nathan was very strong on him - he showed his younger brother what to do!
