That’s her fourth win around here and back over a shorter trip. She was able to dictate things and Niall rode her well. She nearly gave it away at the last but she got back on track. Two miles on a flat track suits her and she also likes going left handed. She’ll keep going for the moment and I’m sure she’ll make a broodmare at some point.

After race at Killarney Fri, 25th Aug, 2023 (1st)
She has won again so it's grand and for some reason she isn't as good going right-handed. She would have been Brian's (Hayes) ride only he chose to go to Kilbeggan and Niall was able to claim 7lb. There's a mares' handicap hurdle at Listowel where she is only rated 109 so that's the attraction. There may be a reason she is that bit better over fences than hurdles but we'll have one go over hurdles.

That was compensation for her last run, it's great to get a win and she likes it around here. We were panicking a bit as going left-handed suits her and Killarney, even though it is left-handed, wasn't an option as it can often be quicker there than most places. We were guaranteed safe ground here. She is a great servant and hopefully can progress. We're only learning about her best trip, she'll have a mini-break now and hopefully will turn up in Listowel.

Her previous win was here over 2m1f and she has a preference to go left-handed. Niall was very good on her, went around the rails and took every opportunity that was there, so top marks to him. We'll keep her on the go for the summer and see where we might end up.

It seemed the horse which fell had the advantage and I think we were destined to be second but he (Hayes) had ridden the perfect race. We're glad to take it. She might hold her own in this company and she will have one more run as she has been on the go for a while. She was a replacement for a couple of horses James (Moran, owner) lost so is working out nicely.

I'm sure the blinkers made a big difference. Going to the second last you'd say she was going to win easily but she was all out at the end. I'm just glad we held on. She had reasonable form coming into today and on her last run you'd say she was entitled to be there or thereabouts. I'm pleased to get a win for James Moran who unfortunately lost Akito a few years back and lost Even Flight last December. It's nice to get a change of luck.
