Dancera could be headed to Galway after she ran out a clear-cut winner of the feature Mullingar Handicap Hurdle at KilbegganMon 21st Jun
Frankford causes 33/1 upset
Bookmakers had a ‘screamer’ result in the T & V Novice Hurdle at Kilbeggan today, when 33/1 shot Frankford led home only five finishers, to provide Laois trainer Jeffrey Mulhern with his first winner. Mon 21st Jun
After race at Kilbeggan Mon, 21st Jun, 2010 (1st)
Frankford was bred and originally raced by Michael Bowe (of Limestone Lad fame) and when I got the horse, Michael told me to wait for better ground with the horse. I've had him since Christmas but he has had a lot of setbacks but today's ground was perfect for him. I've five horses in training, have had a few point to point winners, but this is my first racecourse winner.
