We’re moving over to Malton in Yorkshire and some of the horses have gone over already. I’ve been reducing the numbers and will bring just six horses in total over with me but they are six that I think can all win.

We were delighted with his last run and I was glad they re-opened this race. He was in good fettle so we said we’d let him run. There is a nice chase in Navan coming up in a couple of weeks’ time that he’ll go for next, and then we can look at something over Christmas.

I’m happy with that. The trip was a little bit short for him but when we saw the race we couldn’t turn away the opportunity. The conditions suited him as he hadn’t got a rating yet,. We’ll be looking forward to him when the ground gets a bit nicer. It was slow motion stuff out there today, and when they crossed the line they nearly stopped to a standstill. I’m delighted to get him to win and hopefully there is a good pot in him in the spring.

That was a long time coming but to be fair he was unlucky at Christmas to bump into a very smart horse at Leopardstown,. We discovered in between times that he doesn't want that real soft, heavy winter ground. On a bit of nicer ground there today we've seen a lot better from him. Davy gave him a super ride as well. He's ultra professional and he knows where to have them in front. He'll go to Punchestown now, hopefully if he's alright, for the two-and-a-half handicap on the Saturday. We'll keep him and are in no rush to put him away. He'll have to get a break at some stage but there is plenty of good prize-money to be picked up in the summer. He wants that type of track though, a big galloping track. Over fences is probably when he's going to come into his own.
