After race at Naas Sun, 25th Aug, 2024 (1st)
He had a nice run in Leopardstown (eighth) the other night and he bounced out of it well. He was too consistent last year and went up too much, and he just needed to come back down in grade. Neve gave him a great ride and her 7lb claim was a big help. He can win at that level and is just not able for the next level.

After race at Galway Tue, 1st Aug, 2023 (1st)
His owner Triona is from Portarlington, works in her parent's Burbages Pub and there are a big gang of friends here since early in the bar. We were hoping for the best, we were a bit worried whether he'd handle the track but obviously handled it well and came home well, as he usually does. Colin was brilliant and is champion jockey for a reason - he has had five rides for me and three have won. We needed that 123 extra yards beyond the mile-distance and as he excels over 1m1f. We were half confident he'd handle the ground and the draw worked out perfectly - he was able to keep in a straight line and the race fell apart around him as normal. It was a brilliant ride.

After race at Leopardstown Thu, 15th Jun, 2023 (1st)
Colin was very patient on him, he said they went hard so he just sat. He did something similar when he won last year, he came from well back, flew up the outside and did it nicely. Obviously he likes being fresh and well in himself but, in fairness to him, last year he held his form for most of the year. We'll see where we go from here, but he's at a level and if we can keep him in that area he might pick up another race. A lot of times it's down to himself, what he decides during the race, whether he'll go for it or not.

After race at Leopardstown Thu, 9th Jun, 2022 (1st)
Triona (Burbage, owner) led the horse up herself. She comes into the yard every day and does everything with him. He’s promised so much on the gallops at home but never delivered. We always knew there was a race in him if we could get his head right. He ran ok in Dundalk and we gave him a break. He’s come back great and his attitude has been different. Finally we have got a tune out of him. He got cut out of it before the straight and dropped back. I thought that was the end of that. Rory found a few gaps, got him wide and he flew home.
