He thrived on the conditions and had more time to fiddle his jumps and I never saw Darragh so happy,. He travelled over to Cheltenham fierce well but the ground had dried that little extra fraction for him and I was half-thinking of pulling the plug and not running him. I did feel he came home out of Cheltenham fierce well in himself and he loved these conditions today. I know you put your head on the plate a bit, but you can't hide. The way he jumped there, you wouldn't mind running him in a National on heavy ground but I'll leave that up to the owners. There is great prize money now, like the Caspian Cup over in Cheltenham, and great sponsorship and the money today was outstanding.

At home he is dour enough on heavy ground but he jarred himself here on the better ground last year so we were happy to run,. He is very consistent, he travelled fierce well for him and I'd say he won a bit snug. I'll leave plans up to the owners and they're having great fun with him. He is owned by a Mayo hotelier Vivian Healy and his brother Liam Healy, who owns a pub in Churchtown. Both are fierce supporters of racing and buy a few horses every year and Jimmy Gordon picked him out a few years ago.

He loves Mallow, a flat track. We were a bit concerned about the ground but he’s a big, strong horse and the ground was loose. The race worked out lovely for him as they went an even gallop the whole way and he jumped well. His two wins now are in Mallow so hopefully we can find something for him here again.

He is a big powerful horse and the two miles and the heavy suited him. He'll make a three miler in time but he definitely didn't stay it the last time he ran. The two (miles) in the heavy ground suited him today. He's big and lairy and is a gangly horse but it'll be three or four year time when he'll make a grand old chaser.
