That's five years in a row now that he's won first time out, and we have always struggled to get a second run into him. He's got a lot of issues but the ground doesn't seem to make that much difference to him, or the trip,. He won over two miles and five furlongs here last year, and we just thought the longer trip today would give him a chance to get into it. Maybe we should put him away now for the Irish National next year!. Empire Of Dirt is in good form after Cheltenham. He'll have a few entries but he could go for the Topham at Aintree.

I'm delighted with that and he deserved to win on his hurdles form. There are plenty of little novice races during the summer. He's not over-big and we'll see where we go with him. He's had a lot of problems and it's been a big problem trying to keep him sound. He's nine but has only run ten times. Anytime we got him to the track he ran well but getting him there was the problem. If we can get a clear run with him he should be a bit of fun for the summer. We won't aim too high with him.

I'm delighted with that. He always seems to run well fresh. He's had more than his fair share of little problems,. We'll see how he comes out of this but he'll probably bypass Punchestown and we'll freshen him up and pick a little target. All his form has been on a bit of nice ground. He's so fragile and doesn't take a lot of racing though. He has schooled well over fences. He's not the biggest in the world but jumps well.

I'm delighted with that. He got a little wind job and it seems to have turned him inside out. His wind just seemed to be catching him. I was a little worried about the ground as it was on the soft side.

He was a little bit disappointing at Cork but he came back a bit sore after that. He should improve for that and he is crying out for further. He has schooled well and we will look for a little novice hurdle for him now.
