She shows she Cannes Do it in Roscommon
Cannes Do rolled home best to take the Elphin Handicap in Roscommon by half a length. Mon 02nd SepMaking Memories Club registers first winner
Nituna (3/1) gave her new owners and jockey Robyn Donoghue-Leahy a breakthrough win with trainer Sheila Lavery at Naas today, as the filly shed her maiden status in the O'Neill & Co. Apprentice Handicap (Div II). Wed 24th Jul
After race at Roscommon Mon, 2nd Sep, 2024 (1st)
We have only two horses for the Flat and both have won now, so we're delighted. She's a home-bred - she took a while to get organised last season, but this season she knows her job quite well and she's on the up. She might be for sale, if someone is interested. I don't know where we go next with her, but Chris said there are a good few races left in her, so we'll see. That was probably a bit tight distance-wise, but she got a good ride. He took his time, he just had to let her get organised halfway up the straight and when she did ,he said she ran on for him.
