Benefit Night (33-1) returned to form for Daniel O'Sullivan to claim the Lucan Racing Leinster National at NaasSun 06th Mar
Night a Benefit for the bookmakers
Davy Condon completed a 237/1 double when Benefit Night came back to form with a bang in the Lucan Racing Leinster National Handicap Steeplechase at Naas. Sun 06th MarGlenquest wins for O'Brien/Madden
The Terence O’Brien trained Glenquest justified favouritism after he landed the Midland Waste Handicap Chase. Sun 13th DecNo sweat for L'Ami
L'Ami did what his odds suggested he should in the Event Power Risk Of Thunder Steeplechase to give owner J P McManus and trainer Enda Bolger a second cross-country prize in as many days following Garde Champetre's big win at Cheltenham yesterday. Sat 14th Nov
After race at Naas Sun, 6th Mar, 2011 (1st)
That's the first time he's had a light weight like that and he loves it around here. He'll probably go for the Midlands National at Uttoxeter now. He has to go left-handed and that's been a problem all along as it limits where he can go. His run in the cross-country last time sweetened him up. He's only had three runs this season and this is his ground. He is a tough horse when he gets his own way. That'll keep the show on the road for a while!
