Review tipperary 6th Aug Snow Watch put up a smart performance to dispense with some decent two-year-olds in the Coolmore Hurricane Run Stakes at Tipperary.Kevin Prendergast's grey, who shaped with distinct promise when winning a Leopardstown maiden last month, was always travelling sweetly in third for Declan McDonogh and eased up to challenge in the straight.Triple Eight stuck on well for a while but was always fighting a losing battle and Snow Watch (7-2) went away to score by two and a half lengths, with the odds-on Jackaroo never able to get into the action in the Listed contest.Invincible Ash (4-1) has been in cracking form of late and she completed a hat-trick when she stepped back up to Listed class in the Abergwaun Stakes.Always prominent under Gary Carroll, the Michael Halford-trained mare saw off Rain Delayed a furlong out and was untroubled in holding the late surge of Santo Padre by a neck.Joseph O'Brien is in a rich vein of form and the 5lb claimer put one on the scoreboard for his father Aidan as 3-1 favourite Tom Sawyer took the Mocklershill Stables Maiden.Johnny Murtagh led in the same colours on Eastern Light, but Tom Sawyer swept past a furlong and a half out and held newcomer Gossamer Seed by a head, the pair pulling well clear.Liberty Island made a brave bid to lead all the way in the Clanwilliam RFC Raceday Handicap, but had no answer to the finishing flourish of the Colm O'Donoghue-ridden 11-4 favourite Partner.David Marnane's four-year-old found the early pace a little hot, but was pulled wide to plough a lone furrow through the closing stages and surged past to win by two and a half lengths.Joanna Morgan's An Mhi (6-1) was never far away in the Derrinstown Stud Apprentice Handicap and when Leigh Roche nudged him into the lead two furlongs out, he forged clear to win by three and a half lengths.
