Review tipperary 3rd May John Oxx and Johnny Murtagh got the better of a couple of real tussles with Aidan and Joseph O'Brien at Tipperary, culminating with Ebalviyra's debut win in the Events At Tipperary Racecourse Maiden.Settled off the pace in the early stages, Murtagh brought the 7-1 chance through to challenge the younger O'Brien on 5-4 favourite Chicago a furlong out.Neither horse would give an inch, but eventually Ebalviyra prevailed close home, running on strongly to score by a length and a quarter.Murtagh looked to have produced a masterclass from the front when Hartani (6-4) charged clear in the TipperaryRaces.ie Maiden, but he had to pour on the coals close home as O'Brien's mount Offer came from miles back to get within half a length at the line.Gordon Lord Byron (5-1) showed a nice turn of foot to land the Join The Tipperary Races Supporters Club Handicap under Fran Berry, coming home half a length ahead of Luisant.Canary Row confirmed the promise he showed on his debut when despatching his two rivals with some ease in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Race.Patrick Prendergast's colt was alway at the head of affairs under Niall McCullagh, and when Verbal Honesty tried to get upsides approaching the furlong marker, the 4-5 favourite kicked on again to score by two and three-quarter lengths.Srucahan employed similar front-running tactics to get off the mark in the Racing At Tipperary Maiden.Chris Hayes was happy to tow the field along on the nearside rail, and when he asked the 4-5 favourite for his effort a furlong out, he soon put the race to bed, beating September Lily by a length and a half.Pat Flynn's Brog Deas completed his hat-trick when running away with the Follow Tipperary Races On Facebook Handicap under Danny Grant, the 9-2 chance coming home three lengths clear of Danequest.
