Willie Mullins broke his own record for the fastest 100 winners in a season by two days when Mozoltov completed a treble for the champion trainer at Fairyhouse.
Mullins had already scored with Abbyssial and Upazo when Mozoltov, a winner at Grade Two level over hurdles, went to post for his fencing debut in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Beginners Chase.
Davy Russell exuded confidence on the Gigginstown House Stud runner (1-2 favourite), tracking Mount Colah before leading after the second-last and clearing away easily to beat Mallowney by seven and a half lengths.
Upazo seems to have got his act together after a disappointing first season in Ireland and followed up an easy victory at the track last month by repeating the dose in the Irish Racing Yearbook Rated Hurdle.
Paul Townend, who went on to a treble, tracked the leaders on the evens favourite before challenging two out, and he had the race won when nearest pursuer Princeton Plains fell at the last. The winning distance was 10 lengths.
Mullins introduced another smart recruit from France when Abbyssial (11-10 favourite) led all the way under Townend in the Racegoer's 25 Euro Package 3-Y-O Maiden Hurdle and impressively eased seven and a half lengths clear of market rival Powder Hound
Townend completed his own treble with a cheeky victory in the New Years Day 2014 At Fairyhouse Handicap Hurdle on Francis Flood's 12-1 shot Miss Xian who stalked Not For Burning down the straight before being nudged a length clear.
The Fairyhouse Membership 2014 Handicap Hurdle produced a terrific finish in which the post came just in time for Denis Hogan's veteran Luke's Benefit (10-1), who held the challenge of Might Be Magic by a short head under Brian Cawley.
Liam Burke's My Murphy (4-1) was passed by Followmeuptocarlow but produced a renewed challenge under Robbie Power to win by three lengths in the New Value Hospitality Packages At Fairyhouse Beginners Chase.
