Willie Mullins' Festival tally this week is currently ten and counting as Yorkhill brought up a fantastic 3,273/1 five-timer for the dominant force in National Hunt racing when landing the Kildare Post-sponsored bumper in impressive fashion.
Patrick Mullins, successful earlier on the card when partnering the veteran Uncle Junior in the La Touche Cup, completed a double as the 5/4 favourite cruised clear entering the straight.
The Presenting gelding, owned by Andrea and Graham Wylie, needed to be kept up to his work in the final furlong as Ok Corral kept on gamely with the remainder of the 8-runner field strung out behind.
Two and a quarter lengths separated the pair at the line, with Up For Review 17 lengths further adrift in third.
Willie Mullins said, âPatrick was full of this horse after his last few bits of work. He was keen to keep him apart from Bellshill and got his wish so it worked out. He's clearly a nice horse.
"He's been giving Patrick plenty of vibes and I haven't done much with him.
âHe was running very green in behind so he switched him out to daylight. One he did he latched on and he was able to do what he wanted with him. He's got a staying pedigree but has also got gears.â
Reflecting on his five-timer he said, âIt's been a magic day and Hurricane Fly also ran a terrific race and didn't let us down.
âI didn't dream I'd be that close (to a record of 13 winners). It's been a fantastic week already and I'm very pleased.â
