Nan Yehi opened her account in some style on her first start for Jessica Harrington at Ballinrobe this afternoon.
Shane Foley grabbed the lead on the well-backed Camelot filly, in the extended nine furlong maiden, and she kicked clear a furlong-and-a-half from home.
It was plain sailing thereafter as she went on to record a cosy five length success over the staying on Longbourn
The 13/8 favourite (9/2 in morning) had been placed on three occasions for Kevin Prendergast, most recently at Gowran last month.
"She's not with us that long and has only done two little half-speeds," said Foley.
"She came with a decent reputation though.
"It was the only thing (making the running) that the lads hadn't tried and it worked."
