White Caviar brings up O'Brien's treble White Caviar, a sister of St Leger winner Galileo Chrome, got that important winning bracket when delivering in the mile and a half maiden at Listowel to bring up a treble for Joseph O'Brien. She came under a drive from Declan McDonogh in a close third approaching the final quarter of a mile but found for pressure. She took over on the run to the final furlong and was soon challenged by War Correspondent. The latter couldn't go with the leader as she was ridden clear in the final 100 yards to win by a healthy two and a quarter lengths to justify 2/1 favouritism. The Very Man (9/2) made eye-catching late headway to run on for second by a short head from War Correspondent (9/2). Assistant trainer Brendan Powell said: "He said she fell out of the stalls and was never really happy on her. She is big, and huge like her brother and has done well to win in the circumstances around here. He said she'd be better on a more galloping, staying track. "She stays well, is genuine and it is important to get a win into her as she has a lovely pedigree. "Knowing Joseph he'll look for black-type now and on a different track she might get it. The last two tracks haven't been ideal for her, but that's where he found the races and they can gain experience going around those tracks." Additional reporting by Tom Weekes
