Whelan 'top class' on Gravity "He's in at Cork tomorrow but probably won't run if the rain comes," said Ado McGuinness after his Specific Gravity took the honours in division two of the Crowne Plaza Leading Jockey & Trainer Championship Handicap that rounded off proceedings at Dundalk. Ronan Whelan donned the familiar yellow and green silks of Sean Gallagher on the well-backed 5/1 shot (from 10s) as he convincingly defied top-weight by two lengths from Milford Lass. "That's his third win this year.  I sold him to Sean a while back and I'm delighted for him as he loves those type of horses and gets great fun from them," added McGuinness. "Ronan gave him a great ride.  He sat patiently on him. He can be a bit tricky and he was top-class. "He'll tip away here over the winter." (GC & EM)
