As in race one, a nose was the winning margin in the second race at Tipperary as Blissful (7/2 co-fav) took the Camas Park Stud Irish EBF Fillies’ Maiden for Aidan and Donnacha O’Brien.

She was cantering alongside the hard-ridden Tasalka (7/2 co-fav) coming to the furlong pole, and looked set for a comfortable success, but the leader was very game on the rail and it was mighty close in the end.

Even So (10/1 ) made good late headway into third on her debut, another two and a quarter lengths back, and the other 7/2 co-favourite Too Soon To Panic came in fourth.

The winner is related to a host of previous winners, and is a full-sister to Gustav Klimt and Wonderfully.

“I think she’s actually very genuine and gives everything she has on the bridle, said winning jockey Donnacha O’Brien.

“That’s why I was trying to hold onto her as long as possible.

“She bounced out of the gate, she travelled, she did everything right but maybe doesn’t find as much as some of them. It was very tight the whole way up the straight.

“I’d imagine she will go for a Listed race and try to get some black type.”
