WING SET FOR REPEAT BID

Right Wing looks set to take his place in tomorrow's #50,000 Worthington Lincoln at Doncaster, it was revealed today.

Good to firm ground earlier in the week had led to doubts about the six-year-old bidding to become the first horse to land back-to-back victories in the race since 1958.

However, rain over the last two days has eased the official going to good.

Marcus Hosgood, racing secretary to trainer John Dunlop, said today: "At the moment I think he'll run.

"The going is good at the moment and various people are saying that if anything it's on the easy side.

"I think that will be good enough, another shower wouldn't do us any harm."

Right Wing, a 9-1 chance with the Tote, is set to top the handicap for the Lincoln with 9st 10lb.
