JOHNNY MURTAGH (rode Sinndar, finished 1st): 'I got a beautiful run through behind Richard Hills and I was able to follow him through.
'I was sure that I was going to win from two and a half furlongs out for he is so brave and battles so well. You can tell you are going to win from the will of the horse.'
RICHARD HILLS (Sakhee 2nd): 'He ran a great race. Everything went to plan _ he gave me everything.
'Really until inside the final furlong I thought I had it won.
'My horse is very brave, he really dug deep for me and the other horse was just stronger at the finish.
'But he has a run a fantastic race _ he has given it 110%. We were beaten by a very good horse.'
RICHARD QUINN (Beat Hollow, 3rd): 'He ran a very good race. The first two quickened and he just stayed on. He'll be better suited by the Curragh than Epsom.'
CHRIS MCCARRON (Best Of The Bests, 4th): 'It is the stiffest test for a horse. I've ridden in it twice now and no way a horse can be less than perfect and win.
'I didn't expect to be in front so soon but I managed to switch him off until Sakhee came alongside and made my fellow run a bit keen. It could be in his favour to drop back in trip.'
WILLIE RYAN (Wellbeing, 5th): 'The race may have come a bit soon for him but he ran a good race.'
KEVIN DARLEY (Hatha Anna, 6th): 'He ran a cracker and just got tired in the last two furlongs.'
RICHARD HUGHES (St Expedit, 7th): 'He ran well. He was going as well as the winner coming down the hill but then they were a bit quick for him.'
PHILIP ROBINSON (Barathea Guest, 8th): 'Never ever going and didn't act on the track.'
JIMMY FORTUNE (Zyz, 9th): 'He ran a blinder until he was just outclassed.'
MICHAEL KINANE (Aristotle, 10th): 'Always struggling with the strong pace and never got into the race.'
PAT EDDERY (Inchlonaig, 11th): 'He ran a good race. They went far too quick for me but he ran on a bit up the straight.'
CHRISTOPHE SOUMILLON (Broche, 12th): 'He hadn't recovered from his last race and found the track too funny for him.'
JOHN REID (Going Global, 13th): 'He ran no sort of race.'
MICHAEL HILLS (Cracow, 14th): 'They went very quick early and after a breather the good horses quickened away from me.'
OLIVIER PESLIER (Kingsclere, 15th): 'He was hanging right all the way. He had a special bit fitted but it didn't make any difference.'
