There will be no more racing in Wexford this afternoon. There was a torrential downpour of rain and although the course is not officially waterlogged the weather conditions are such that officials decided to abandon racing after the 1.45 Powers Gold Label Series Handicap Hurdle.
4/5 Favourite Be My Royal won the 12.45 Frank Warren Memorial, French Horse Kapok won the C J O'Loughlin 4-Y-O maiden Hurdle at 1.15 while Mr Red Banner won the the final race of the day, the Powers Gold Label Handicap Hurdle.
