Fresh off a break since Christmas, and without an appearance on the level since back in September, the now six time victor, Pivot Bridge (10/1) struck under Declan McDonogh in the Fundraise At Dundalk Stadium Handicap.
Try as he might from over a furlong out, favourite, Moonmeister bidding for four in a row, couldn't match Pivot Bridge, who was eventually on top to the tune of one length.
Ado McGuinness has care of Pivot Bridge for Dan Daly and he said: "I didn't really know how fit he was. He had a break and went back to Dan's. He'll probably go now for a handicap hurdle at either Aintree or Fairyhouse.
"I'd love to bring him to Aintree as I feel it would really suit him. I'll have to see what Dan wants to do though.
"He's been a great horse for us. Last year he won good handicap hurdles at Fairyhouse and Killarney and he was second at Punchestown.
"He likes a fast pace and he'll go chasing this year once the first of May comes." (AM & EM)
