The Tote have launched their Ten to Follow competition for the Jumps season with a minimum guaranteed prize pool of £150,000 up for grabs.

Entries open today (Monday, 2 November) and close at 11am on Saturday 14 November which is the first day of the competition.

The competition is open to all Irish and UK customers over the age of 18 with a verified Tote account. To enter the Tote Ten to Follow competition click here.

Entry costs £5/€5.50 and 100% of the final pool will be shared amongst the winners. As well as the overall prize there will be 4 monthly prizes of £10,000.

Entries are unlimited so you can make multiple entries with different stable selections. There is also an option to create a private league within your account to play against friends.

Key Information

  • Tote Ten to Follow returns for the jumps with a £150,000 guaranteed prize pool.
  • The game opens for entries on 2nd November at 9:00am and closes at 11:00am 14th November 2020 at which point horses will begin scoring.
  • Customers can edit their stable any time throughout that period.
  • The game will close for scoring at 11:59pm 24th April 2021 and the winner will be crowned.

Tote Ten to Follow is the ultimate season-long competition for racing fans. For just £5 or €5.50 for Irish customers, racing fans can assemble a stable of ten star horses and be in with a chance of winning a share of a minimum guaranteed pool of £150,000.

To be in with a chance of winning, customers simply have to pick horses who will win races and subsequently points throughout the season. The stable with the most points at the end of the season will pick up the lion’s share of the pool, while there will be cash prizes for stables all the way down to those who finish 100th.

Why is Tote Ten to Follow a great bet?

Tote Ten to Follow is an essential bet for any racing fan. Not only does it give you the chance to win huge prizes from a small stake but it provides you with an interest in nearly every Grade 1 throughout the season.

100% of the pool will be shared amongst the winners and, as well as an overall prize, we’ll be offering four monthly prizes worth £/€10,000 each. Players can enter as many stables as they like in a bid to become our champion, so gearing your stables around these monthly prizes can be a shrewd move.

As well as a paid game, all Tote customers can enter our free to play game where there will be a top prize of £/€5,000 available, along with £/€1,000 monthly prizes.

Players can also create their own private leagues and play against their friends.

Who can play Tote Ten to Follow?

Tote Ten to Follow is open to all UK and Irish customers with a verified Tote account.

How do horses score points?

Customers score points when one of their horses wins or places. The way in which those points are calculated is determined by the quality of race and the price of the horse. There are 25 bonus races where there will be opportunities for customers even more points.

Here’s how much a win is worth:

Grade 1

Grade 2
20 pts

Grade 3
15 pts

Listed
12 pts

Any other race
10 pts

On top of that, the horse will also receive the equivalent points returned for a £1 e/w bet on the Tote. There are 25 bonus races which will return an additional 25 points to the winner and 12 points to the runner up. The Tote return is always calculated with the inclusion of Tote Guarantee.

So for example, Al Boum Photo horse won the Gold Cup last year and received 25 points for a Grade 1, 25 points for the bonus race, 4.33 for his win return and 1.80 points for his place return on the Tote for a grand total of 56.13 points.
