Mervyn Torrens was in the winners enclosure this afternoon when winning The Tayto Derrinstown Stud Apprentice Handicap with Dancera ridden by Stephen Gray and owned by Raymond Simpson.
Mervyn Torrens trainer said, "She go to Down Royal now for a grade 3 mares hurdle in November. She is a tough mare and she came up the hill very well but I'd expect that as I train my horses up a hill."
