Following an 8am inspection at Navan this morning the meeting scheduled for today has been cancelled.

The County Meath venue had 11mm of rain overnight and parts of the track were found to be waterlogged and unfit for racing.

The eight-race card included the Grade 2 BetVictor Boyne Hurdle and the BetVictor Ten Up Novice Chase, also a Grade 2 event.

Clerk of the Course Paddy Graffin said, "We are waterlogged in areas down the back straight. We've considered a few options like taking out hurdles but with further rain forecast right up to race time we felt we had no alternative and have had to cancel the meeting."
