The meeting scheduled for Thurles on Thursday has been cancelled, with a replacement fixture to be announced in due course.
"Due to the recent dry spell and insufficient rainfall predicted in the weather forecast for the coming days, Thurles on Thursday has been cancelled," Clerk of the Course Lorcan Wyer revealed.
"We are liaising with HRI regarding a replacement fixture."
There is no facility for watering at the Co Tipperary venue.
