TROUBLE AND PEARL TO CLASH AT DOWN ROYAL

Tote Cheltenham Gold Cup winner Looks Like Trouble and runner-up Florida Pearl were today reported on course for a rematch early this jumps season.

The pair, who were separated by five lengths at Cheltenham, are set to renew rivalry in the #110,000 James Nicholson Ulster Champion Chase at Down Royal on November 11th.

Noel Chance, trainer of Looks Like Trouble, said: 'This has always been the race I have had in mind for the Gold Cup winner.

'I understand there have been approaches from Wetherby to run Looks Like Trouble in the Charlie Hall Chase around the same date. But the only way I`ll miss Down Royal is if the going is heavy.'

Chance added that later in the season Looks Like Trouble would probably go for the Pillar Chase at Cheltenham, the Hennessy Gold Cup at Leopardstown and the Aon Chase at Newbury.

And Jackie Mullins, wife of trainer Willie, confirmed that the Northern Ireland race would be the first major outing for Florida Pearl - who won the contest last year.
