Breeze Home was disqualified from third place in the opener at Lingfield today when his rider Michael Fenton weighed in 8lb lighter than he had weighed out.
The clerk of the scales lodged an objection to the Chris Kinane-trained gelding following the Gatwick Maiden Stakes in which Breeze Home was beaten a total of four and three-quarter lengths in the race won by Zeyaarah.
The stewards fined Kinane #280 for a weight cloth not being in the saddle.
