Hot Tin Roof made it two wins from three starts for Tim Easterby when landing the Listed Victor Chandler Kilvington Fillies' Stakes under Kevin Darley at Nottingham.
Darley got a lovely run through on the rails to collar the long-time leader Halland Park Girl half-a-furlong from home and then go one and a half lengths clear.
Easterby watched the race on TV at Thirsk and he said later: 'She ran a cracker, I am delighted with her.
'I don't think I have put her in at Royal Ascot so we will have to look for something else for her.
'I think seven furlongs is probably her trip. When Kieren (Fallon) rode her at Lingfield last time over that trip he said he wasn't sure if she would get a mile so we thought we would drop her back to six furlongs today.'
Darley said: 'She keeps improving and could go on to something better. She is so laid back and wants a bit of cut in the ground.'
Royal Ascot entry San Salvador completed a hat-trick a shade more cosily than the winning margin might suggest in the availablecar.com Classified Stakes.
The son of Dayjur travelled sweetly for Jason Weaver who sent him into the lead over a furlong out and, though he edged left in the closing stages, he comfortably held Locharati by three-quarters of a length.
San Salvador is in the King's Stand Stakes at the Royal meeting but trainer Jeremy Noseda said: 'I will have to have a chat with his owner and see what we do now.
'He could possibly go for the King's Stand but there are a few other places where he could go so I wouldn't necessarily want to commit him to anything at this stage.'
San Salvador was raised 20lb for future handicaps as a result of his win at Lingfield last week, and Noseda went on: 'The ground was a little quicker than ideal today and he was possibly running a bit quicker than ideal after Lingfield last week but this was an opportunity I couldn't really say no to.
'I hope the handicapper looks at this and see if the 20lb was possibly not justified you know, we will have to wait and see.'
Jason Tate faces seven days on the sideline after being found guilty of using his whip with excessive force and frequency and not allowing his mount time to respond in the final furlong on Locharati.
Tate picked up a three-day suspension for those offences and his breach of the guidelines also triggered off a further four days which had been deferred by the Jockey Club disciplinary committee for a previous hearing. As a result he will be banned from May 29 to June 4 inclusive.
