TIMAHS LANDS SINGAPORE PLATE

Frankie Dettori produced Godolphin's Timahs with an explosive run in the short straight to win the 10-furlong Singapore Plate at Kranji today.

Timahs swept to victory by three and a quarter lengths from Graf Philipp with Australian challenger Iron Horse third.

The Ed Dunlop-trained Night Style, ridden by Gary Carter, never seriously got into the race and finished down the field.

Although it was not a Group race Dettori gave one his flying dismounts in the winner's enclosure much to the delight of the locals. -PA
