A field of 13 horses has been declared for tomorrow's £75,000 Racing Post Chase at Kempton Park.
Martin Pipe's exciting novice Gloria Victis, winner of the Pertemps Feltham Novices' Chase over course and distance in December, heads the weights for the three-mile contest.
Richard Johnson deputises for regular partner Tony McCoy who will be serving the last day of a two-day suspension.
The gelding's main market rival is the Mary Reveley-trained Brother Of Iris who will be ridden by Lorcan Wyer in the absence of stable jockey Peter Niven.
There were no surprise withdrawals at the overnight stage with the seven defections including Spendid and Mulligan, first and third respectively in Thursday's Jim Ford Challenge Cup Chase at Wincanton.
The going at the Sunbury track is currently described as soft, good to soft in places following 19mm of rain overnight.
Clerk of the course Andrew Cooper said: "I think come tomorrow we may be able to call it good to soft, soft in places.
"I think it will improve a little bit but it will remain, after that volume of rain, on the slow side. The forecast is for it to be basically dry."
Cooper was also delighted with the quality of the field for the feature race.
"We're pleased," he said. "We've put more prize money into it, prize money down to sixth place and there is a bonus if the winner of it goes on to win certain races at Cheltenham, so we're delighted."
