THARI TOPS NOVEMBER BILL

Thari heads the weights for the Tote Scoop6 November Stakes at Doncaster tomorrow following the defection of Zilarator at the overnight stage.

Connections of Zilarator have opted instead to run the four-year-old in the Listed CIU Serlby Stakes earlier on the Town Moor card which is likely to be staged on very soft going.

'David Elsworth`s horse (Island Sound) doesn`t run so we`ve decided to go for the Listed race instead. I believe these races should be supported,' the gelding`s trainer William Haggas said this morning.

'He`s got a lot to do with Boreas in. He is rated 112 and we are on 97 and we`ll be meeting at levels.

'But he`s fine and he loves the ground. Richard Quinn will ride.'

A total of 21 horses stand their ground for the #30,000 November Handicap.

Last year`s winner Flossy is next in the handicap behind Thari and Chris Thornton`s filly has been the ante-post favourite for some time following good recent efforts.

Other interesting runners are IanBalding`s ex-German El Emel, Queen`s Prize winner Captain Miller from Nicky Henderson`s yard, Julie Camacho`s improving three-year-old Dancing Bay and the Mick Easterby-trained duo Nowell House and Dee Pee Cee Tee.
