Godolphin's Teggiano will miss the Vodafone Oaks at Epsom this afternoon.
A statement from Sheikh Mohammed's operation said: "Teggiano had an elevated temperature this morning and has been withdrawn from the Vodafone Oaks."
The Mujtahid filly, winner of last year's Fillies' Mile at Ascot for trainer Clive Brittain, has yet to race this season and missed the Dubai Poule d'Essai des Pouliches at Longchamp last month when found to be lame the day before the Classic.
She had been as short as 20-1 for the Oaks with Coral this morning.
Godolphin will still be represented in the contest by Melikah, the mount of Chris McCarron.
