Synchronised has become the latest high profile horse to be taken out of Sunday's Hennessy Gold Cup at Leopardstown

The Jonjo O'Neill-trained gelding would have been one of the main fancies for the three miles Grade 1 event having taken the Lexus Chase in impressive fashion over course and distance after Christmas.

Owner J P McManus' racing manager Frank Berry confirmed the news this morning saying, "Jonjo's not happy with him today and he's not going to send him over for the race.

"He won't run again before Cheltenham and hopefully Jonjo will get him right for the Gold Cup."

This blow comes hot on the heels of Quito De La Roque and Jessies Dream both being ruled out yesterday.

Synchronised's connections had signalled they were not 100% happy with the gelding's preparation over the past few weeks.

The going at the south Co. Dublin track is currently yielding ahead of Sunday's card which also features three other Grade 1 races.

Stan James revised betting on the Hennessy Gold Cup:

11/10 Quel Esprit, 100/30 Bostons Angel, 9/2 China Rock, 13/2 Magnanimity, 16/1 Roberto Goldback, Follow The Plan, 40/1 Treacle.
