It doesn’t get any tighter than the finish severed up in the Crowne Plaza Hotel Dundalk Handicap as Chateau Musar (11/2) just edged it from two close up opponents.
A nose and the same split the first three home in this mile and a half heat as Chateau Musar (Chris Hayes) came from the back between horses to marginally better favourite Top Line Tommy and outsider Dammit (40/1).
“I didn't think he had got that. I thought he was only third, it just shows you my eyesight is bad!” said winning owner/trainer John Geoghegan.
“It's unbelievable, that's four wins up here now so he owes us nothing and he was up in grade today.
“There is a 0-85 next Sunday but we might just wait for the grass now. We can't complain as we've had a great winter.”
