Shandy recorded a 50/1 shock in the Tally-Ho Stud Irish EBF Ballogan Stakes at Naas last month and trainer Fozzy Stack is considering a number of options for the talented sprinter.

The daughter of Starspangledbanner holds a couple of entries including the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Bold Lad Handicap which is part of Irish Champions Weekend over six furlongs at the Curragh on Sunday.

However, ground conditions will have a major influence on running plans for the Group 3 winner with Stack commenting: “She would want rain for it to be even a conversation and I don't think there is a lot of rain due (before Sunday).

Shandy is among 32 entries for the €150,000 sprint and currently set to carry 9st8lb with four rivals above her in the handicap.

"We'll see. She’s also in the Renaissance Stakes (Group 3 at the Curragh on September 29) and there's a couple of Listed races as well, so there are options. She needs a drop of rain."
