Soft to Heavy at Ballinrobe Ballinrobe is now soft to heavy following 8mm of rain since 8am at the western track. The going at declaration had been good for the seven race mixed card which gets underway at 5.50pm. Tipperary race again on Tuesday and the ground there is soft, yielding in places. Fresh ground is in use. The safety limit has been reduced at Tipperary to 12 in the two seven furlong races and the two 1m4f races. The weather is to be unsettled today and tomorrow. Leopardstown race on Thursday and the ground is good there after no rain over the weekend at the Dublin track. The ground is also good at Limerick, which also hold a jumps meeting on Thursday. There are also two meetings on Friday and the ground is good, good to firm in places at Wexford. Down Royal is presently good, soft in places on the round course and good on the seven furlong track.
