Sligo remains soft with rain forecast

Following 4mm of rain and a breezy day, Sligo remains soft ahead of this evening's card.

There is the possibility of a further 6-7mm (approx) of rain prior to racing.

Following 3mm of rain and 8mm of irrigation Leopardstown is good ahead of tomorrow's meeting.

There is a small chance of showers later and overnight (1-2mm approx).

It's due to be largely overcast tomorrow with showers later in the evening.

Killarney's August festival begins on Thursday and following 5mm of rain yesterday the ground is good.

There is the possibility of 5mm (approx) tonight and a further 10mm over the coming days. Officials are monitoring the situation regarding further watering the national hunt track.

The ground at Kilbeggan remains good, good to yielding in places ahead of Friday.

There is the possibility of 18-20mm (approx) of rain prior to racing. They are monitoring the situation regarding watering.

Following 1mm of rain and 4mm of irrigation the Curragh is now good, good to firm in places ahead of Saturday.

Up to 25mm (approx) of rain is forecast prior to racing according to Met Éireann.

Following 2.5mm of rain Naas remains good, good to firm in places ahead of Sunday. Up to 30mm (approx) of rain is forecast prior to racing.

The ground at Downpatrick is good, good to firm in places ahead of their card on Monday.

It's an unsettled forecast with the possibility of 20-25mm (approx) of rain prior to racing.
