Trainer Andy Slattery is hoping that Independent Expert makes the line-up for the Irish Cambridgeshire at the Curragh on Saturday.

Currently 7th on the ballot list, the mare will need a few defections if she is to get a run in the late season premier handicap.

The Tipperary trainer said: "Hopefully she get in (Irish Cambridgeshire at Curragh on Saturday).

"If we got a bit of rain, it would be a help for her.

"Delighted with her run the last day over seven (in Cork) - it would be too short for her, seven, on quick ground.

"She's in great form.

"She did win over a mile on quick ground at Killarney and she surprised me that day. She beat the horse (Physique) that won the Ahonoora (in Galway), and beat him quite easily.

"She has a squeak if she gets in, she has an outside chance."
