Rocky Sky made a winning start for Ross O'Sullivan when running out a game winner of the mile maiden at Dundalk.
The Rock Of Gibraltar filly had been third on her sole outing for owner/trainer Una Corcoran here in December and changed connections subsequently, running in the colours of Catherine Kinane tonight.
Gary Halpin produced his mount to dispute a furlong-and-a-half from home and she found plenty in the closing stages.
6/5 favourite Devil's Outlaw wasn't going down without a fight and pushed her to to the line as she secured a half-length verdict.
O’Sullivan said:- “Gary was feeling the pressure tonight as he was riding for Mick Kinane and his wife Catherine! It’s the first horse we’ve had for them and it’s great to have their backing.
“Everything worked out to plan. She’d a good run the first day and I think she’ll keep progressing.
“The extra furlong was no problem. She has a nice pedigree, she handled the surface well and you wouldn’t be worried about dropping her back in trip either."
