The O'Shea's Hotel Chase produced a terrific finish with Sebadee just holding the late charge of Hampshire Express to edge the verdict.
Eddie O'Connell had sent his mount to the front at the second last but he was all out on the run-in to score by a head.
Hampshire Express worked his way into contention at the last and ran on strongly close home, with the judge having to split the pair at the line.
Pauline Ryan, representing her trainer husband Ken Condon said:-
"Ken is in Dundalk today. We thought he would win. He loves good ground and we knew he liked the track. He never got a run at Galway last time."
The winner was recording his third victory at the course having been twice successful over hurdles in the past.
There was a sad post script to the race with the second-placed Hampshire Express being put down after fracturing his stifle.
