The Tara Lee Cogan trained Schindler's Pearl and jockey Ken Whelan combined to win the Inistioge Maiden Hurdle at Gowran today.
The Downpatrick bumper winner was held up by Whelan before progressing to eventually lead before the final flight for a half length win over The Tipperary Man
Cogan later stated “I train in Moone and will have three horses in training during the summer – Schindler's Pearl was my first winner when he won at Downpatrick in May.”
