The www.motivatechallenge.com Chase caused a surprise when 14/1 outsider Schelm came home in front under David Casey.
Casey came with a late challenge to get up and lead on the run-in and deny Kahuna and Andrew Thornton by half a length.
Winning trainer Ronald O’Leary said afterwards: “That was just the job, he has been a great servant too us for the last couple of years and he loves this fast ground."
“He’s not an overly big horse. His run over hurdles at Killarney boosted his confidence after he got fell here at the festival.”
