STOREY TIME

Jockey Brian Storey returns to the racecourse at Carlisle tomorrow after over four months out of the saddle.

Storey was sidelined when breaking a leg in a fall at Hexham in November.

The 37-year-old has two mounts at the Cumbrian track, Hades de Sienne in the Market Tavern, Preston Novices' Hurdle and D J Flippance in the George Mckeown 60th Birthday Intermediate Open National Hunt Flat Race.

Storey said today: 'I'm back in action tomorrow.

'It seems like a long time since I've ridden but the leg feels great so I'll have a couple of rides, see how it is and then go from there really.

'I've nothing at Cheltenham so I'll work up north but if anything came up I'd jump at the chance.'
