STAG TO WORK OUT UNDER LIGHTS

Running Stag will work under lights at Nad Al Sheba this evening as he continues his preparation for a crack at the Emirates Dubai World Cup on March 25th.

Philip Mitchell's charge, who finished seventh behind Almutawakel in last year's running of the race, skipped morning training and is set for a prep race over seven and a half furlongs at Nad al Sheba on Sunday.

The David Elsworth-trained Lear Spear, who also has the World Cup as his target, cantered a circuit of Nad al Sheba this morning under Neil Pollard.

Sir Michael Stoute's Dubai Sheema Classic hopeful Fantastic Light worked on the turf track, finishing clear of his companion Sunbeam Dance.

His work rider Kevin Bradshaw said: "I was pleased with that piece of work and we are all happy with the horse."
