Tim Sprake, who spent around three weeks in a coma after suffering head injuries in a car accident in December, continues to make steady progress.
His agent Guy Jewell today said: "Tim has improved. He is now talking. He knows people and had a conversation with Roger Charlton, who went to see him yesterday.
"He is definitely going the right way and has definitely taken some big steps down the road to recovery in the last few weeks."
