Sheikh Mohammed's son Rashid Al Maktoum will have his first ride under rules in Britain in the opening race at Newcastle tomorrow evening.
He will ride Brazilian Mood, owned and trained by Clive Brittain, in the Bollinger Champagne Challenge Series Handicap for amateur riders.
Sheikh Rashid, whose father is one of Britain's leading owners, has a number of horses in training with Brittain including Speedfit Too, a winner at Salisbury on Wednesday.
Brittain's wife Maureen said today: "He has ridden in Dubai in amateur races and in endurance races all over the world and he said he wanted to ride in amateur races over here this season.
"The horse should run well."
