SELECT FIELD SET TO LINE-UP FOR FESTIVAL STAKES

Bomb Alaska will face four rivals when he attempts to get off the mark for the season in tomorrow's £35,000 Badger Brewery Festival Stakes at Goodwood.

Toby Balding's charge won four times last season but has yet to get his head in front in three attempts this term, finishing third to Little Rock in the Group Three Marriott Hotels Stakes at Sandown last time out.

He must overcome the John Dunlop-trained Right Wing in this Listed contest, the winner of a similar event at Kempton in April.

Recent Newmarket winner Island House (Geoff Wragg), Monsajem (Ed Dunlop) and Annapurna (Brian Meehan) make up the field with, as expected, Beat All bypassing the race in favour of Sandown's Brigadier Gerard Stakes on Tuesday.

Corinium, winner of the Listed Radley Stakes at Newbury for Henry Cecil last term, is set to make her seasonal debut in the £25,000 European Breeders Fund Conqueror Stakes on the same card.

Among her five rivals will be the Richard Hannon-trained Mayaro Bay, winner of the Listed Pricewaterhousecoopers Hambleton Rated Stakes at York last week.

Zilarator and Montecristo, first and third respectively in the Stanley Racing Great Metropolitan Handicap at Epsom last time, meet again in the A & J Bull Rated Stakes (Showcase Handicap) for which 13 horses have been declared.
