Heavy rain has put paid to today`s English jumps meeting at Sedgefield.

Racing was called off after an early-morning inspection found the track to be unfit.

'We have abandoned,' said general manager Alan Brown.

'We have had 11mm of rain since yesterday afternoon and the course is waterlogged in several places.'
