Sandown`s meeting tomorrow has been abandoned following an inspection this afternoon.
The hurdle races at the Esher track were called off at an inspection this morning due to waterlogging.
Plans were put into action to hold an all-chase card but further rain put even that in jeopardy.
Clerk of the course Andrew Cooper said: 'Unfortunately we`ve had to abandon.
'We ended up with three areas of the course that I think it would be foolhardy to say it would be safe to race over.
'There were too many inconsistencies in it. We gave it every chance but safety is paramount.'
