Queen's Vase third Samsaam, trained by John Dunlop, was among 11 acceptors today for the Group Three Prix Berteux over 15 furlongs at Chantilly on Friday.
The three-year-old, a winner at Windsor, Doncaster and Haydock Park this term, finished second to stable-companion Cephalonia in the Bahrain Trophy at the Newmarket last time out.
Irish trainer Tommy Stack left in Independence Hall at today's "probables" stage.
The remaining nine acceptors are Bourgeois, Herculano, Lachlan, Le Diabolique, Le Nomade, Mister Kick, Original Cast, Honorifique and Ponte Brolla.
